About Us

Morecrofts is a Derby-based privately owned electrical engineering contractor.

Chairman Jared Mitchell and Managing Director Nick Morecroft, and fellow Directors: Mick Phipps, Jordan Robinson, Anthony Matthews and Toby Squires have a combined experience of over 200 years in the electrical and engineering services industry and are all time-served, qualified engineers.

We are fortunate that a number of our Directors have all worked together as a team for over 30 years for regional and national electrical and engineering contractors, and combined with the recently appointed Directors have a formidable team in terms of;

We have built a great team here at Morecrofts as well as partnering with many high quality specialist subcontractors and suppliers.

Services we offer include;

  • Design and installation of electrical installation contracts to a value of £6.0 million
  • Design and installation of electrical and mechanical services contracts to a value of £12.0 million

Works are carried out throughout England, predominantly in the Midlands, South Yorkshire and the south of the country.

We pride ourselves on our ability to work closely with our clients and develop integral relationships which mutually benefit both ourselves and our clients. This generally sees us attaining repeat business.
