Morecrofts secure industrial project in first scheme for B+K West Midlands

Morecrofts has secured the design and installation of electrical services to 6 new warehouse / industrial units in Nottingham, marking its first project for Bowmer + Kirkland West Midlands Region.

Located in an established commercial area of Nottingham, Power Park – formerly known as New Horizon – is set to be one of the region’s best connected industrial and logistics developments. Delivered on a tailored design and build basis, the units will range from 32,000 sq ft to 145,000 sq ft and be constructed to a Grade A specification.

Morecrofts will carry out complete electrical services for main contractor Bowmer + Kirkland and client HBD (Henry Boot Developments), commencing on site in September with completion set for early 2023.

HBD said “The procurement of new bespoke facilities at Power Park have been refined in order that some of the quickest delivery timescales in the market can be achieved. This includes the pre-contract design development, planning and construction phases, all developed in conjunction with a highly experienced team of professional consultants.”

This is our first scheme for B+K West Midlands Region and follows many projects for B&K Building Services and B+K Group, including Phoenix School, Cheltenham Medical Centre and the high-profile Space Park Leicester.
