9 Projects Delivered, 10 Projects Secured: Coronavirus One Year On
It was late April 2020 when we announced that our teams had returned to site following a short break due to Coronavirus. With increased health and safety measures implemented to provide a safe working environment for all site staff and operatives, our team resumed on numerous projects including Phoenix School and Shoe Lane in London.
Now, one unprecedented year on, we reflect on the past 12 months’ successes, positive news and major milestones, revealing a productive outlook ahead.
Despite industry uncertainty, since kicking back into action in April 2020 our team has gone on to deliver nine high-quality projects and secure a fantastic ten more, including electrical services for:
- ITM Power – the largest facility of its kind in the world
- Traffic Street student accommodation, following the successful completion of Talbot Street with nmcn plc
- Numerous education sector projects
- Food and Drink industry projects
- Prestigious schemes including Space Park Leicester phases 1 and 2
- And four new projects on the way
Our projects secured during COVID-19 span across the country and will see us continue works into 2022.
Our ability to work closely with clients is also something we’re truly proud of, and continuing to support blue-chip companies such as G F Tomlinson, Bowmer and Kirkland Group, Clegg Group, nmcn, ISG Construction, Kier Group, VolkerFitzpatrick Construction and more during this time has been a testament to our client relationships as well as our team’s resilience and performance.
Helping to keep the industry moving, we’ve also achieved some major company milestones – in August celebrating completing over £50 million of electrical work in the last five years.
We’re so proud to have been sharing positive news, new projects and company announcements throughout the year, meeting challenges through perseverance and collaboration. It has been uplifting to see a positive outlook from the industry too.
Already securing multiple new projects, which we’ll be revealing soon, we’re four months in and 2021 is shaping up to be a solid year. We thank our employees, clients, subcontractors and friends for adapting and driving forward through unprecedented times and we look forward to commencing and completing new projects in 2021.
