Commencing work on new UK-based projects
Our teams have recently commenced work on a number of new projects across the UK, spanning the industrial, residential, manufacturing and food production sectors.
The new schemes reflect an ever-growing and varied project portfolio, with the team delivering electrical services on both fast‑track developments and complex, long‑term refurbishments.
Warehouse & Offices – Avonmouth
Electrical installations are now underway at a new large industrial warehouse and office development in Avonmouth for Bowmer and Kirkland – I&L Division. With a fast‑track 24‑week programme, the project will deliver a state‑of‑the‑art distribution centre and offices for a global organisation operating within the logistics and industrial sector.
40–46 Albert Road – Bristol City Centre
We have also commenced electrical installations at 40–46 Albert Road in Bristol city centre for Bowmer and Kirkland (Western Region). The 17‑storey development will provide 454 bedrooms of student accommodation and is located close to the University of Bristol’s new Temple Quarter Enterprise Campus. The project forms part of a wider regeneration and investment programme within the area. With first‑fix works now progressing, the scheme is scheduled for completion in the second quarter of 2027.
Factory Refurbishment – Castleford, Yorkshire
We have started working on-site at a clothing manufacturing facility in Castleford, Yorkshire, which serves as the home of one of the UK’s most established clothing brands.
The project involves a full electrical refurbishment to be delivered alongside the replacement of the entire roof. The works will provide an improved working environment for the hundreds of staff employed at the facility. Due to the complexity of the refurbishment and the requirement for production to continue throughout the programme, the project is expected to remain on site for close to two years.
Dairy and Creamery Refurbishment – Lockerbie
Lastly, we are also due to begin electrical services installations at a dairy and creamery facility in Lockerbie this June. The project forms part of a refurbishment and extension programme for one of the UK’s best‑known dairy producers. The scheme continues our 30 year relationship with Nottingham-based company Clegg Food Projects, with electrical design works now nearing completion ahead of a 12‑month construction programme.
Together, these new starts demonstrate a varied and technically demanding workload. Site teams are now established with works progressing well. As always, we will keep you updated as these project journeys develop.
