Morecrofts secure new contracts worth over £9 million

Morecrofts are looking at another successful year ahead, having secured a number of new contracts – worth over £9 million in total – set to take the company into 2023.

The projects showcase both Morecrofts’ breadth and expertise, spanning across our specialist sectors: industrial, food industry, commercial, and education. With many also labelled ‘the UK’s biggest’ or ‘world’s first’, they also demonstrate our trusted position in delivering top-level projects for industry leaders.

We are currently in the design stage on all the newly secured projects and are due to commence on site from early 2023.

International Air and Space Training Institute (IASTI)

A £12m new build campus in Newark, Nottinghamshire, the IASTI will be the world’s first facility of its kind training the next generation to work in the UK’s aerospace and space industries – providing facilities for future pilots, engineers and flight dispatchers. The project, for client Lincoln College Group, follows the huge success of Space Park Leicester, delivered earlier this year. Read more via the BBC.

Panattoni Park Rotherham

A 630,000 sq ft warehouse with 30,000 sq ft of offices – one of the biggest single unit spec builds coming to market in the UK. We’ll be supporting client Panattoni, the largest logistics real estate developer in the UK and Europe, helping to construct a facility in Rotherham integrating best-in-class logistics operations. A new food factory for the largest bakery chain in the UK, located in Newcastle Upon Tyne. More details coming soon.

Brocks Hill Redevelopment

Renovation of the site at Brocks Hill Country Park, Leicestershire to create a new headquarters for Oadby & Wigston Borough Council (OWBC). The modern, green design of the building will also vastly reduce the council’s carbon footprint. Read more.

The Millside Spencer Academy

A new primary school in East Leake, built with a capacity for 315 primary pupils and a 26-place nursery. The multi-million-pound school will be two storeys and will include classrooms from nursery through to year six. Read more.
