Everards’ Brewery in Final Stages
Electrical work at Everards’ new brewery on Fosse Park in Leicestershire is in the final stages after just over 12 months since project initiation.
The state-of-the-art 70 acre site includes 9,000 sq ft of office space, almost 16,000 sq ft of brewery space and more than 11,000 sq ft of shops, food and drink space. It’s set to officially open in Spring 2021 after a delay due to Coronavirus and the implementation of additional health & safety measures.
Electrical services included the design and installation of lighting, emergency systems and photovoltaic panels as well as heating and ventilation systems by mechanical partner Ambivent Mechanical Ltd.
You can discover the project’s construction progress from above with this drone footage shared by Everards.
Once production commences the steel frame structured brewery will be able to produce over 4.3 million pints of beer a year! It will also allow Everards to integrate their manufacturing process with customers able to take a behind the scenes tour of the brewery.
It’s been a delight to work closely and strengthen our relationship with main contractor Kier Construction during this project and the new site is set to be a real experience once COVID-19 allows!
