Residential project at Gilders Yard commences

Announced recently as one of Morecrofts’ new projects after £5 million worth of work was secured despite COVID-19, electrical installation has now commenced at this large site in Birmingham.

Gilders Yard is a residential project which will see the construction of 157 high quality 1 & 2 bedroomed apartments in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter, with the apartments benefiting from fantastic city centre amenities.

Working with main contractor Clegg Construction Ltd on behalf of clients Grainger Plc, our team will be providing the design and installation of all electrical services to these private rental apartments.

As well as the construction of three new 3 and 4 storey residential blocks the site will see the careful restoration of a grade II* listed jewellery factory and will also provide 10,000 sq ft of commercial space at ground level.
