Steady Progress and Big Milestones at Three Key Sites
We’ve recently seen some really positive progress across two major projects, both of which are moving confidently toward their next milestones.
SAP 4 – Filton, Bristol
Work is continuing at pace on the 330‑bed SAP 4 student accommodation scheme for the University of the West of England (UWE). Built by Bowmer and Kirkland, the project is running well and remains firmly on course for its Q1 2026 completion.
The development is part of a wider investment in improving student living in Filton, and our team has been fully involved in keeping quality, safety and programme targets on track. It’s been great to see how well the project is coming together as we head into the final stretch.
Siemens Industrial Facility – Chippenham
Over in Chippenham, things are progressing just as strongly. We’re now working across the full Siemens facility with more than 40 people on site, supported by our management team. Everything is moving steadily toward a spring 2026 handover.
This is a highly technical scheme, covering everything from manufacturing and research & development areas to labs, warehousing, offices and a wide range of specialist services. Despite the complexity, the team has been tackling the design and integration challenges with real focus and attention to detail.
Both projects are great examples of the hard work and commitment shown across our regional teams, and it’s been fantastic to see the momentum building on each site. We’ll continue to share progress as we move closer to complete delivery.
Woodlands School – Coventry
At Woodlands School in Coventry, we’re now well past the halfway mark on the electrical design and installation works, and the project has really started to take shape over the last few months. Delivered for Clegg Construction Ltd, this multi‑million‑pound refurbishment covers several large blocks across the school site, each at different stages of transformation as we work toward the 2026 completion.
Most of the first‑fixing is now wrapped up, and our teams have moved into a busy phase of second‑fixing and testing. Classrooms, communal areas and external zones are all progressing steadily, with new services being installed, commissioned and signed off section by section. With so many areas being refurbished at once, coordination has been key, and the team has done a great job keeping everything moving safely and efficiently.
This is a sizeable and complex scheme, involving the modernisation of buildings that have been in use for many years, but the improvements are already becoming clear as the refurbished spaces start to come together. It’s been a packed and productive stretch, and the team is keeping everything moving in the right direction as we head into the next stages of the programme.
