Electrical Design Commences at The Centre for Green Technology

Morecrofts have been chosen to provide the design and installation of electrical services to a new high-tech Centre for Green Technology in Peterborough.

Working with main contractor Clegg Construction for Peterborough College and Inspire Education Group, our electrical design team are currently using the latest Revit BIM software to create high-quality 3D drawings for the highly serviced building. The Centre for Green Technology will be net-zero, meaning on-site renewables will be installed to meet the energy needs of the building.

The 2,664 sq m facility on the college’s main campus will have a curriculum covering topics such as emerging construction technologies and electric vehicle technology. It will feature plumbing and electrical workshops, a building services engineering lab, and a motor vehicles lab.
