Keele University Innovation Centre 7 nears completion

It’s all coming together at Keele University’s new Innovation Centre, IC7 as Morecrofts nears electrical installation completion.

This fantastic £2.5 million electrical contract is for a heavily serviced centre at the university’s Staffordshire-based campus. It is our third project for Keele University as well as our third in only a year for B&K Building Services, part of the Bowmer and Kirkland Group.

Electrical services included the installation of incoming high voltage transformers and full-capacity standby generation systems as well as energy-efficient lighting and power systems.

The BREEAM excellent state-of-the-art facility, built on Keele’s Science and Innovation Park, will be the home of Keele’s new Digital Society Institute. It consists of approximately 30,000.00 square feet of innovation space, featuring a Data Visualisation Suite, offices, and a hi-tech meeting and collaboration area.
