In-house BIM

In October 2017 we announced the implementation of in-house 3D design with the appointment of new BIM Manager, Richard Carter.

Richard had over 5 years’ experience of working on BIM and conducting staff training, and his knowledge helped to increase the capabilities of our already talented design team.

All Morecrofts design staff are now fully conversant with electrical and BIM design. All 3D drawing and coordination is now also carried out in-house.

We are one of only a few companies our size providing full in-house BIM design, which helps with coordination of services within buildings of limited space.

Internal 3D design has been essential during many of our projects, including the extension of De Montfort University’s Hugh Aston building.
