Morecrofts secured the design and installation contract for electrical services in a new build secondary school for client Derbyshire County Council.

Constructed on a greenbelt site on the edge of Tibshelf village, the school was built to provide a high-quality, environmentally friendly facility for students aged 11–16. The building included teaching facilities, main hall, sports hall as well as administration and office accommodation and extensive external sports pitches, including floodlit all weather surfaces.

This prestigious project is the first new secondary school to be built in Derbyshire following the cancelling of the government backed BSF initiative and we were proud to deliver it early and on budget.
